IT Delivery Manager

The BSS Development organization is responsible for the development and life cycle management of IT/BSS systems in the Nordic and Baltic countries. The Delivery Management unit is responsible for planning, execution and delivery of IT projects and assignments.

What you will do
The core responsibility is IT project management of process- and system development projects. During the next several years BSSD will have a strong focus on modernization, consolidation and transformation of our IT systems. Therefore many of the projects will be focusing on securing successful roll-out of system- and process consolidation projects.

The environment is international and most of our projects are cross-border and therefore it is required that you thrive in an environment characterized by continuous learning, change and collaboration. The job requires managing projects and assignments in the Nordics and Baltics countries, so some travelling can occur.

Areas of responsibilities 

• IT project management of development and transformation projects within BSS Development.
• IT project management of BSS Development deliveries towards project’s outside BSSD,  e.g. product development, Group IT, Broadband or Network Development.
• Plan, manage and execute assignments with BSS Development deliveries (i.e. smaller projects).
• Take technical lead in projects and assignments i.e. initiate activities, follow up on development work, manage teams consisting of architects, business analysts, system developers etc., collect and secure overview, make status reports/presentations to steering groups and line management.

Required skills & Business experience

• University degree in IT, Management, Business Administration or other related areas.
• 5 years of experience working with IT software development, IT project management or business administration, which gives you the knowledge and the tools to act as technical lead on development projects.
• Knowledge of Telecom and BSS systems is preferred.
• You are business oriented, well structured, self-driven, energetic, and focus on results. You are analytical and able to solve complex problems. You like to work under time-pressure and are good at networking and forming relationships. You thrive working in an environment characterized by change and are eager to learn new ways of working.
• In addition you should be fluent in English and Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
