Telia announces iPhone 3G pricing in Sweden

STOCKHOLM–June 27, 2008 – Telia today announced that it will offer Apple's highly anticipated iPhone 3G from as little as one SEK and with three new subscriptions when it goes on sale in all of Telia´s 84 stores in Sweden on July 11.
"We have seen a huge interest around iPhone 3G in Sweden and in order to match different customer needs of voice, SMS and mobile data, we will offer three different subscriptions all including free use of Telia’s WLAN hotspots," says Håkan Dahlström, Head of Mobility Services at TeliaSonera in Sweden. "With iPhone 3G, and the speed and mobility of Telia's mobile network, customers will enjoy using iPhone 3G to browse the web, read emails and more."

Apple's iPhone 3G combines all the revolutionary features of iPhone with 3G networking that is twice as fast* as the first generation iPhone, built-in GPS for expanded location based mobile services, and iPhone 2.0 software which includes support for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync and runs the hundreds of third party applications already built with the recently released iPhone SDK.

Telia will offer three subscriptions with iPhone 3G. All three subscriptions will include substantial mobile and voice minutes as well as free use of Telia's over 1,800 WLAN hotspots.
