Working with faithful customers

This is Omnitel’s tenth year as a mobile operator. It has also been ten years since the first mobile call was made in Lithuania via Omnitel’s network. To celebrate, Jurgita Tendzegolskiené organised an anniversary party with Omnitel’s 10 first mobile customers as guests. The ten customers still call with Omnitel and have their original mobile numbers.

The party was held in one of the nicest party facilities in Vilnius. In addition to our oldest customers, the media and Omnitel’s management were also invited.

“My idea was to create a cosy and a little nostalgic atmosphere in the centre. The best compliment for my team was the kind words and thanks from customers for the pleasant evening and their promises to stay with Omnitel for at least another ten years,” says Jurgita.

Normally, Jurgita works with customer retention, customer loyalty, and other customer care projects in the back office. She has worked for Omnitel for seven years and she began as a seller. “One year ago I was promoted to customer care manager at the customer care division.”

She feels that Omnitel is a fast moving and creative company that challenges her to develop. “It encourages me to reach for more, learn new things every day, and work for very interesting projects. In addition, I am studying marketing at the university.”

What do you like to do on your spare time?
“I like travelling on my own – to first choose a country and then explore it, not to follow regular touristy ways.”

Do you have family?
“I have been married for 6 years. My husband works for Omnitel’s financial analysis and planning division. Our son Martynas is 5 years old.”
