SOS-barnbyar

Netcom is helping finance the construction of an upper-secondary school being built by the aid organization SOS-barnbyar in Zambia's capital Lusaka to provide schooling for 500 teenagers.

The school will primarily focus on theoretical subjects but its curriculum will also include vocational training. The idea is for young people to be able find work after their studies and ensure their ability to make a living.

Construction for the school is starting at the beginning of 2004 and it should be completed by mid-2005.
