TeliaSonera's corporate social responsibility (CSR) policy is to integrate issues into our business processes that are important for sustainable development in the marketplace, workplace, environment and community in interaction with the stakeholders.
The TeliaSonera Corporate Policy comprises our Business Concept, Shared Values, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Business Ethics and other fundamental aspects of the company. The TeliaSonera Corporate Social Responsibility Policy document develops the CSR area further.
Our goal is for TeliaSonera to be regarded as a good corporate citizen and moreover to be one of the highest rated companies in sustainability indexes within our industry.
TeliaSonera is a signatory of the The European Telecommunications Network Operators' Association (ETNO) Sustainability Charter. TeliaSonera was also one of the first signatories of the previous ETNO Environmental Charter in 1996. The purpose of this charter is to share information on sustainability and raise awareness of the opportunities ICT can provide for sustainable development. Through ETNO TeliaSonera is also an affiliated member of GeSI, the Global e-Sustainability Initiative.
TeliaSonera also participates nationally in many organizations which work actively with CSR related issues.
