TeliaSonera has nationwide 4G licenses in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark. During 2010, the 4G network roll out continues in Sweden's 25 largest cities and vaction areas and Norway's 4 largest cities.
First in the world with 4G!
TeliaSonera is the first operator in the world to commercially launch 4G.
We are proud of being pioneers of the telecom industry. We offer our customers in Stockholm and Oslo 4G with mobile broadband speeds up to a maximum speed of 100 Mbit/s.
During the first half year 2010, TeliaSonera has also opened up 4G for pilot customers in Finland, Denmark, Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia.
During the Swedish Crown Princess' Royal Wedding in June 2010, Swedish tv companies live broadcasted via 4G from the celebrations in Stockholm.
